Brand registered – am I screwed?

Don’t Panic, You’re Not Screwed

First off, take a deep breath. Being brand registered on Amazon doesn’t mean your selling days are over. It just means you’ll need to jump through a few more hoops to keep selling your products on the platform. It’s definitely annoying, but it’s not the end of the world.

Why Were You Brand Registered?

If you’ve been brand registered on Amazon, it’s probably because someone claimed that you were infringing on their intellectual property. This could be for a number of reasons – maybe they think you’re selling counterfeit goods, or maybe they just don’t like the look of your product listings. Either way, it’s a pain in the ass, but it’s not the end of the world.

What Happens Now?

So, now that you’re brand registered, you’ll need to prove to Amazon that you have the right to sell your products. This might involve providing invoices, certificates of authenticity, or other paperwork that proves you’re selling the real deal. It’s a pain in the butt, but it’s doable. Just make sure you have all your ducks in a row before you appeal.

Getting Back on Track

Once you’ve proven to Amazon that you’re legit, you should be able to start selling your products again. Just make sure you’re following all the rules and regulations set out by Amazon – they can be a real stickler for the small stuff. Keep your nose clean, and you should be back in business in no time.
